Accepting it’s time to get a hearing aid can be difficult, but what do you do when your hearing aid isn’t working properly anymore? Hearing aids are not what they were ten years ago, and the same will be true ten years from now. Hearing aids can last up to 7 years, but some models start to show their age in as few as three years. For this reason, it’s important to remain in regular contact with your audiologist and work closely with your hearing care provider to ensure that your device is working correctly.
